Introducing Secure Key authentication for safer trading

Extra security for your trading account with Secure Key authentication.

Secure Key is a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enhancement to protect your RHB TradeSmart Trading account from unauthorized trades on all web and mobile platforms. This security feature applies to all RHB TradeSmart clients.

This feature will be made available effective 15 November 2025. To maintain your trading access, you are required to set up your Secure Key by 13 December 2025. Set up now for seamless, secure trading!

Checklist

Before you begin, make sure you are ready with the following:

  • Your personal device (phone or tablet) updated with the latest version of the RHB TradeSmart app.

  • Active mobile number & email (to receive one-time codes/alerts)

  • A stable internet connection

Get Started (One-Time Setup)

Important for web trading users:

Please complete the one-time setup on your mobile app first. When trading on the web, you will be required to approve prompts on your registered device.
